I love Boise! This is a terrific community, but we are at a crossroads. For the first time, city council seats will be filled with residents of six new voting districts—and all will be elected this fall. I am thrilled for a chance for wider city representation, but disappointed when I learned that the slate of candidates for District 2 were established politicians - a former and a current state legislator. To me, this meant more of the same. I can offer something different. As a West Boisean with a young family, I understand what Boise families are facing. I am a new voice and a fresh face. I have never served in public office. I have a degree in political science and am licensed to practice law. Most importantly, I cherish the character of my community and seek to preserve it for generations to come.
